USDOC Global Partnership Program
SPI, ESI, and Smart Energy Week (SEW) is once again partnering with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s (USDOC) International Trade Administration (ITA) to offer this key program for a sixth year in a row.
In 2021, the USDOC Global Buyers Program (formerly the IBP), will continue to help U.S. companies by recruiting overseas buyers to attend in-person or virtually at SEW. These global buyers are interested in meeting with U.S. equipment and service exporters before, during, and after the show. This is a great opportunity to build partnerships and increase export sales. The Global Buyers Program offers business to business (B2B) matchmaking; business to government (B2G) matchmaking; and an industry-specific international seminar. These programs are complimentary to SEW U.S. exhibitors and attendees.
U.S. Embassy and Consulate recruited foreign buyers from around the world are seeking introductions with U.S. suppliers at SEW. U.S. suppliers can connect with these buyers before, during, and after the show, with this exclusive business-to-business matchmaking program. Register for this service and your company profile will be shared with pre-screened international buyers attending SPI, ESI, and Smart Energy Week in 2021. You will be able to view the buyers’ profiles and confirm your choice of meetings prior to scheduling. We are bringing international sales to you!
International Market Consulting
Meet with U.S. Embassy and Consulate energy specialists from around the world as part of the International Market Counseling program. By participating in this complimentary program, U.S. exhibitors and attendees will receive the following, customized to their company’s business profile:

- Connection point to other networking and foreign buyer opportunities
- Analyze in-country business trends, best prospects, and market intelligence
- Develop follow-up plan to pursue new or additional partners in the market using the program's global network
International Market Seminars
In the weeks leading up to the event, U.S. exhibitors and attendees can gain valuable insights into international markets represented at the show through interactive webinars organized by the USDOC.
